SAAS membership options
Thanks for your interest in joining the Spanish Association for American Studies. Membership of the Association is open to teachers, researchers, independent scholars and all others concerned with American Studies. Though the vast majority of our members are academics working in Spain, we do have a relevant number of members from other countries. Membership fees are the same for nationals and non-nationals. By becoming a member, you are entitled to participate in our biennial conferences (specific conference registration fee also applies), and to apply for SAAS awards and grants.

* Reduced Fees (Master’s /PhD Students): proof of current enrolment in an MA or PhD program is obligatory and must be forwarded to the treasurer: jibanez@ual.es

Method 1 (Bank Account – Direct Debit application form): fill in bank details and your details and forward a copy to your bank, and a copy to the treasurer (jibanez@ual.es) and to the secretary (mirfer@ugr.es). You’re done!
Method 2 (Credit Card): fill in your details and some card details in the registration form link in that page (also available here). Forward a copy of the completed form, along with email confirmation by the STRIPE system, to jibanez@ual.es and to mirfer@ugr.es.
For members who used to pay by credit card in the past and wish to change to direct debit, simply follow Method 1.
EAAS membership through SAAS: if you are not a member of AEDEAN and want to join EAAS through SAAS, you may now do so. Membership is 6€ /year, added to your SAAS dues.
Cancellation policy: to cancel your SAAS membership, please notify both the treasurer (jibanez@ual.es) and cc the secretary (mirfer@ugr.es) in your email.
